Happy Fire Prevention Week!

“Safe Charging is a Superpower,” reminds us to stay safe when using lithium-ion batteries in our everyday devices.

🔋 Charge safely

• Use the charger that came with your device or one approved by the manufacturer.
• Never charge batteries under a pillow, on a bed, or where they can overheat.

🔥 Watch for Warning Signs

• Replace damaged, swollen, or unusually hot batteries.
• Unplug devices once they are fully charged or as recommended by manufacturer

A huge thank you to our firefighters, fire prevention team, and everyone who helps educate our community about fire safety.

Let’s work together to keep our community safe!

Preparedness Month may be coming to an end, but being ready is a year-round commitment.

Know your risks. Stay Informed. Make a Plan. Build a Kit. Stay Connected with your Community.
But, most importantly, take steps to protect the people who matter most.

When individuals and families are prepared, every neighborhood and community becomes more resilient.

Preparedness starts with you. Americans Stand Ready.
