We inspire and support the next generation of skilled tradespeople by advocating for the trades as essential, rewarding careers. based trades school.

Through scholarships, education, and community collaboration, we elevate awareness, respect, and opportunities in the trades. Our Mission:

Bring Back the Trades, Inc is a national non-profit based in Rye, New Hampshire. Bring Back the Trades believes that the skilled trades are a worthy and essential career choice for students. One of our primary missions is to equip post-secondary students with scholarships, who want to acquire the knowledge of a professional trade through U.S. We are proud to have awarded more than 45 scholarships since we began, to qualified students who are pursuing post-secondary educations in a professional trade. In addition to scholarships, Bring Back the Trades host community events and trade exhibitions. We educate and bring together local communities so they can experience trade skills, to drive respect and awareness of the importance of all trades. To further implement our mission, Bring Back the Trades, Inc. collaborates with educators, community leaders and trade vendors to collectively change the perception of the trades within the education system. We are dedicated to bringing together trade vendors, schools, parents and students to ensure all members of society value tradespeople and have the opportunities for gratifying careers in the trades as a result.

Last week, I had the opportunity to join Chris, the new principal of Portsmouth High School, on the CTE Advisory Board. 🤝🏫 Since he’s new to the role this year, I had the chance to share my personal story with him.

❤️ I told him that if it weren’t for the autobody class at Portsmouth High School, I probably wouldn’t be where I am today!

I went from wanting to quit school to discovering my true passion for working with my hands. 🙏🛠️ That passion eventually led me to where I am today — running my own business! 💼💪

Skilled trades are a big part of the Massachusetts Army National Guard, and they'll be joining us at the MA Skills Expo in a few weeks!

The Massachusetts Army National Guard offers paid training and certifications in trades like equipment, maintenance, and construction. It's a way to build valuable skills, earn credentials, and move your career forward with purpose.

🎉 Up next, our second August Tool Grant winner: Neville High School's Electrician program!

After yesterday's shoutout, we're back with another fantastic program to highlight. This one's brand new to the school, and students are working with next to nothing, just three pairs of wire st*****rs and a multi-meter shared across 130 students. Tool identification is part of their coursework, so getting real tools in their hands makes a big difference in helping them actually learn what they're working with.

Thanks to Milwaukee Tool and electrical training ALLIANCE, this grant is bringing in professional-grade equipment so these students can get hands-on experience with basic wiring, and hopefully spark a few more of them to think seriously about a career in the trades.

Congrats Neville High School, we can't wait to see where this takes you! 🔧⚡

🎉 Congrats to our August Tool Grant winner, Mize High School's Agriculture Mechanics Department!

Teacher Thomas Hall's students spend their time learning to diagnose, repair, and rebuild small gas and diesel engines, but their tools have seen better days. A lot of their sockets and wrenches are older than the school building, with worn markings that make it hard to even grab the right size, and they've had to borrow power tools from the district just to get through labs.

This grant is bringing in new tools courtesy of Milwaukee Tool so students can stop working around broken equipment and start focusing on building real, hands-on skills for careers in ag mechanics, diesel tech, and beyond.

We love seeing programs like this get the tools they deserve. 🔧🚜

Congratulations to our August Scholarship Winner, Martin Saucedo! 🎉

Martin is from Heber, CA, and is attending Universal Technical Institute to become an Automotive Technician. His journey hasn't been easy, but he's shown up every day committed to building a different future for himself.

He's pursuing this career because he loves working with vehicles, solving problems, and knows that success is earned through effort, skill, and consistency. His goal? To become an excellent technician, build a stable career, and one day open his own shop.

We're proud to award Martin a $1,500 scholarship so he can stay focused on his goals.

Congratulations, Martin! We can't wait to see where this journey takes you. 🔧🚗
