It is with deep sadness that we share the following message about Scott Anderson, a beloved member of our Board of Directors:

It is with a heavy heart that the Anderson family shares the tragic news of the passing of Scott Anderson on Monday, June 8, 2026, in a motor vehicle accident. As a family, we are gathered together in Biddeford, supporting one another and processing this immense loss, and we feel the presence of each of you with us during this difficult time.

We understand that many of you may be experiencing a whirlwind of emotions—shock, sadness, anger, confusion, or disbelief. Please know that there is no single right way to respond to this heartbreaking news. Grief is personal, and we encourage you to take the time you need to feel and express your emotions.

Scott was a cherished member of countless communities, and his kindness, humor, and unwavering dedication touched the lives of so many. We are still discovering the breadth of his impact and the many hearts he warmed. We apologize for delivering this news in such a manner, but Scott lived a magnificent and vibrant life that deserves to be acknowledged.

We recognize that many of you will have questions. In the coming days, we will share an official obituary and details regarding memorial arrangements. Additionally, ways to support the family will be communicated when they become available. In the meantime, we kindly ask that you keep us all in your thoughts and prayers as we navigate this profound loss together.
