Help for Haiti

Help for Haiti Help for Haiti is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization whose mission is to feed, educate & employ communities in North Haiti.

Help for Haiti was created by Jim and Betsy Willey as a Christian 501c3 specifically designed to feed and educate children in the northeast area of Haiti while we build companies and potential jobs for their future. Food and an education are necessary for all children, but a job after an education builds a life.

Back home in New Hampshire after a great trip to our school in Haiti. Visited farmers who grow rice for our school kids.
The Jean Appolon Expression, a Haitian dance troop from Boston used our school property to train local kids in Haitian Cultural dance. The kids were trained each day and after ten days they put on a show for parents and friends. Jean and his team were wonderful with the kids, many are students at our school, Kampe Fem Christian Academy.
Wonderful to spend a week with Johanne and her team. Tremendous amount of work underway to open our school in the Fall. God is good!

Bill E. and I rode together today sporting our Help for Haiti jerseys. We stopped by Studio A Design to visit Bill’s daughter Amanda who designed the jerseys for us. She has done all our graphic design ‘pro bono’ for years. I call her a Help for Haiti hero. Great morning on the road!

As 2025 comes to a close I want to thank our staff in Haiti for their dedication and hard work in caring for the beautiful kids in our two schools. Johanne has led her team through another successful year in spite of the challenges Haiti presents. The schools remained open, the kids got a hot meal every school day and we now have launched 130 new small businesses improving the lives of hundreds of families in our communities. As we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ I want to wish all our friends in Haiti and our supporters here in the United States a blessed Merry Christmas. Love, Jim & Betsy
