Thank you Mrs. Kailee for our Celebration Cookies last week- We learned that the people celebrated because the temple was repaired and cleaned! They were very happy to worship God together again. We can come to church every week. We should be happy and thank God for our church, too. Our cookies were our celebration treat.

We are having church this morning and hope you will be able to join us today at 10:45, so you can check out all the fun things we have planned to learn about in the Bible today.

If you are unable to make it, check out TCAR KiDs At Home for resources designed to help you lead the lesson experience with your family.

FAMILY TALKING POINTS

CHRIST CONNECTION
This is the big idea of how this week’s Bible story points to Jesus.

• Babies & Toddlers: Jesus came to help us know how to turn back to God. When we trust in Jesus, we can be close to God again.
• Younger Preschool: All these helpers told the people to turn back to God. Later, Jesus came and said the same thing: “Stop doing wrong things and come back to God.” When we trust in Jesus, we can be close to God again.
• Older Preschool: These prophets all told the people the same thing: stop doing wrong things and turn back to God. Later, Jesus came and said the same thing: “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near.” When we trust in Jesus, we can be close to God again.
• Kids: God sent prophets to His people to warn them to repent of their sin and turn to God. Jesus gave the same message, saying, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near.” When we trust in Jesus, we are restored to a right relationship with God and have the hope of eternal life.

We're Back!!! Small groups, TCAR KiDs and Students classes start back this week. TCAR KiDs, Students, and Parent Small group will begin tomorrow night, Wednesday, Jan 21st at 6:30 at the church.
Tomorrow is cereal night so bring your favorite cereal to share.

TCAR KiDs we will be continuing to learn about Spiritual Disciplines focusing on EVANGELISM for the next few weeks.

Evangelism is sharing the good news of the gospel with unbelievers. It's not only what we say but how we live. When we reflect the love, kindness, and forgiveness of Jesus in our everyday actions, we show others who God is.

Evangelism is an act of love for both God and others. As we obey Jesus' command to share the gospel, we grow in our walk with Him, and others have the opportunity to hear the good news of salvation!
