Yesterday, our Keystone Club members celebrated an incredible year of leadership, service, and hard work with a trip to Kings Island!

What makes this trip even more special is that our teens earned it themselves. Through months of fundraising, planning, and dedication, they raised enough money to cover the entire cost of the trip. Their commitment to their goals, their Club, and their community continues to impress us every day.

Throughout the year, our Keystoners have volunteered countless hours, led service projects, organized events, advocated for issues important to teens, and served as positive role models for younger members. Yesterday was a well deserved opportunity to celebrate all they have accomplished together.

But the year isn’t over yet! Next month, several of our Keystone members will represent our Club at the National Keystone Conference, where they will connect with teen leaders from across the country, develop new leadership skills, and bring back fresh ideas to make an even greater impact in our community.

Congratulations to all of our Keystone members on an amazing year. We are proud of everything you have achieved and can’t wait to see what comes next!

On behalf of our staff, members, and families, we want to extend our sincere gratitude to the CIRCLe for their investment in our youth and our community. This generous support will help us make significant upgrades to our Cadet Center, creating an even better space for our members to learn, grow, explore, and thrive.

These improvements will allow us to enhance programming opportunities, provide a more welcoming environment, and continue serving the young people and families who rely on our Club each day.

Thank you, CIRCLe, for believing in our mission and helping us build a brighter future for the next generation. We cannot wait to share updates as this exciting project moves forward!

🌟CIRCLe FUND GRANTEE: Boys & Girls Club of Rush County

😎SUMMER LEARNING LABS/SUMMER CAMP😎

We are down to the last few days of Learning Labs sign ups!

What is it?

Summer Learning Labs are a fun, high-quality academic and enrichment program designed to support student growth, prevent summer learning loss, and keep students on track for the upcoming school year. We had great success last year and are excited to offer this again!

What does a day look like?

Each day from 8:30am - 11:30pm students will receive 90 minutes of literacy instruction and 75 minutes of math instruction. The academic sessions will be taught by licensed teachers with Club staff present in the room as teachers' aides. The afternoon portion of the day (12:00-6:00 PM) will consist of traditional Club programs. Youth will engage in fun activities such as Art, STEM, Games, Gym, and more.

What are the hours?

6:00 AM - 8:00 AM: Drop-off
7:30 AM - 8:00 AM: Breakfast
8:30 AM - 11:30 AM: Summer Learning Labs
11:30 AM - 6:00 PM: Lunch and Club Programs
Tuesday and Thursday are our pool days from 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM We can not allow kids to be picked up from the pool. If your child has an appointment that falls in the middle of the pool hours they will be required to stay at the club for that day.
*Pick-up can occur after 11:30 AM, however, mornings are necessary to meet attendance.

Who can attend?

Summer Learning Labs is available to students who will be in 1st - 6th grade in the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. This means they are completing K-5th in the current school year, 2025-2026.

How much does it cost?

Summer Learning Labs is FREE! However, you must be a registered Boys & Girls Club of Rush County member ($25/calendar year/member).

Why is there an attendance policy?

Attendance is very important to the students' success throughout the program. At least 80% attendance is suggested to get the most benefit from the experience. If you have vacation planned please communicate that with staff.

What about regular Summer Camp?

If you are not interested in Summer Learning Labs, all are welcome to attend the Club’s regular Summer Camp at the Boys & Girls Club of Rush County for $15/day/member or $50/week/member, open 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM.
