Assistant Camp Director Erin here! Welcome to our "What's That??" series. We are excited to reminisce about the summer of 2026, show off different activities and program areas, and quiz you all on how well you know Camp!

For our first "What's That??" post, comment the name of this activity. This fan favorite Environmental Education game teaches campers about how animals blend in to their environments to keep safe. This game only requires one piece of equipment: a tarp! Do you know what game this is?

💙💛 Wellness Wednesday: Celebrating Down Syndrome Awareness Month! 💛💙
October is Down Syndrome Awareness Month, and we’re celebrating some of the amazing people who make our camp community so special! 🥰🏕️
Our campers with Down Syndrome remind us that wellness is about so much more than physical health. It’s about belonging, being included, trying new things, making friends, being challenged, laughing until your belly hurts, and knowing you have a place where you are valued exactly as you are. 💙
At Camp, we get to see campers discover new strengths, cheer each other on, conquer challenges, and create memories that last long after the summer ends. 🌟
This month, we’re celebrating our campers with Down Syndrome and all the ways they make our Camp Community stronger, brighter, and more fun! 🥳

We are thrilled to announce that we're going to be performing a major overhaul of our camper database. It's old and needs to be upgraded to current technology, made more efficient, and be prepared for the future needs of Camp. This is long overdue and we're excited to get started. Our partners in this venture is Heartland Business Systems and the team there has been thoughtful and responsive in developing a comprehensive plan.
We still have mid January as our launch date for the 2027 camper applications. As we get closer, we will be emailing and sharing on social media how the new database will work.

This is it! We have two more days for feedback for Hundred X. Every piece of feedback counts - donating $1.20 to Camp. Your feedback purchases the ovens for Camp - and we all know how important food is for our campers, staff and rental guests.
