We are grateful to announce that the Housing First Minnesota Foundation has received a generous grant from the CenterPoint Energy Foundation in support of the Bravo Zulu Women’s Home!

This contribution will go directly toward construction costs and the completion of this first-of-its-kind sober living home, designed specifically for women veterans recovering from PTSD, military sexual trauma (MST), and substance use disorders.

Once complete, the 10-bed home will provide a safe, supportive, and dignified environment where women veterans can focus on healing, recovery, and building a brighter future.

Thank you, CenterPoint Energy Foundation, for your continued generosity and commitment to supporting our mission! Together, we are creating more than housing—we are building a place of hope, healing, and new beginnings for those who have served our country.

Over the past three weeks, we welcomed more than 30 potential partners across both the nonprofit field and housing industry to our Partner Pathways Breakfast Series to learn more about the Housing First Minnesota Foundation, our mission, and the many ways to get involved!

These gatherings are all about bringing people together, building meaningful relationships, and creating new opportunities to make a difference in our communities.

We are grateful to everyone who joined us and shared their interest in supporting our mission or working with us on our Industry Led Community Build Projects. We are excited to turn these new connections into lasting partnerships as we work together to provide safe, dignified housing for Minnesotans experiencing homelessness.

As the Parade of Homes comes to a close, we want to give special recognition to our Fall Dream Homes and the incredible builders behind them for their support of the Housing First Minnesota Foundation.

Over four weeks, more than 1,700 visitors toured the two Dream Homes in Mahtomedi and Rochester, experiencing inspiring design, exceptional craftsmanship, and thoughtful details—all while supporting the Foundation’s mission.

A heartfelt thank you to Hartman Homes, Inc. and R. Fleming Construction for generously opening these beautiful homes to tourgoers. Your partnership helps us continue creating safe, dignified housing for Minnesotans in need, and we are grateful for the impact you help make possible!

A new chapter begins in St. Cloud! 🏠💙

We were proud to join Avivo and project partners to celebrate the ribbon cutting of Avivo Village – St. Cloud, a new 48-bed, low-barrier supportive housing shelter for individuals experiencing homelessness.

This project is a powerful example of what can happen when great partners come together with a shared purpose. We’re grateful to Avivo, BCI Construction, Inc., Schwieters Companies, Inc., and everyone who helped turn this vision into a place where people can find safety, stability, and hope for what comes next.

This new shelter will serve as an important resource in the St. Cloud community and we look forward to seeing the impact it will make for years to come!

Yesterday, the Housing First Minnesota Foundation’s 14th Annual Building Futures Golf Classic brought together our industry, partners, and supporters for a day of connection and friendly competition—all while advancing our mission to build safe, dignified housing for Minnesotans in need.
