Tonie’s Fund visited the WVU Cancer Institute and had the opportunity to meet with faculty and student researchers dedicated to making a difference in cancer research. It was a pleasure to meet with the Department of Cancer Prevention and Control and Dr. Elena Pugacheva’s lab. We were so excited to meet Natalia that received the Tonie Renner Gentile Breast Cancer Research Fund summer research fellowship as well as see Colin last year’s fellowship recipient. We were inspired by the researchers passion and we are proud to support such an important mission.
