Hello all. As many of you know I am no longer doing Beads4Dreams. I have loads and loads of beads (including Swarovski), findings, tools and supplies that I just got back from the woman who was going to take over but, unfortunately could not continue. If anyone out there is interested (or knows of anyone who might be) in purchasing these items from me please pm me. I am willing to sacrifice ~$800 worth of beading supplies for $400. Thanks!!

I sent my last check to Adara this week. It has been a great honor and privilege to have worked with this wonderful foundation over the past eight years. I so admire all the great works Audette and her amazing team are doing in Uganda and Nepal. I hope my efforts with Beads4Dreams made a difference in some of the lives of the people I met at Kiwoko. My life will be forever changed by my experiences and the people I have met through this project. I will truly miss Beads4Dreams but, believe it was time to hand over the reins to my angel, Brit Burke. My dream is to someday be able to visit Kiwoko Hospital again to see the progress being made by Adara. Thanks to everyone who supported me on my journey through your generous purchases and kind words of encouragement. It is with a heavy heart that I say goodbye to this endeavor that has been such a big part of my life for eight years. ~Susan ###

It is with a heavy heart that I announce that I will be closing Beads4Dreams at the end of this year.

This endeavor has been a huge part of my life over the last 8 years and I will miss it terribly. I have met so many extraordinary people from all over the globe and made many friends through the process.

It was always my dream as a young girl to visit Africa and never in my wildest imagination did I think it would ever come to be nor did I realize that it would change my life as it did. I will be forever grateful for the opportunity to visit Kiwoko Hospital back in September 2008 which was the catalyst that launched this amazing adventure. This project has given me more than anyone can imagine and hopefully I have inspired the people I have met to practice small acts of kindness.

I do have one or two more holiday shows to do before I close. I will post the dates here as the date gets near.

I am passing the torch to the capable hands of Brit Burke who will carry on my dream to make the world a better place one bead at a time.
