Cardinal Cove Mini Golf Center Cardinal Cove AgriGardens is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that is located on a local historical working 18-hole mini golf course.

Fall is showing her colors! While the days are still weirdly hot for Maine, the nights are doing their handiwork.

Yes, we are still open! It has been sooo dry, the plants are feeling it - but golf is open, 8am to dark and the plan is to stay open (self serve!) til October!

Ok, I hate these posts, but here we are…

Please supervise your kids and teach them to respect property they are visiting.

I, personally, have a lot of kids, so I get it. Sometimes they’re faster than we are. But all three of these kid height metal ants were stretched to full length. That wasn’t quick.

We know it seems like a wild playground out there, and giving them room to explore is great! But this place exists with a lot of work and a monetary cost to us (more than we make from it - I promise).

We want to keep it open as a place of exploration and nature immersion and good old clean fun - please make sure it is treated kindly so it stays open.

We’ve joined Monarch Watch as a way station and tagger! Today we tagged and logged our first. was perfectly comfortable after his tagging, coming back to hang out on the butterfly bush and milkweed he was caught from. 🦋

Baby announcement! *Not of the human variety*

A little rescue barn kitty named Daisy is the newest member of the course kitty family - but she is so itty bitty, it’ll be a bit before she starts her visits.

And the first monarch baby has been sighted. That’s my thumbnail! So it’s teeeeeny tiny. 🐛

Please! Be thoughtful of the milkweed out there, they are now a nursery for new monarchs! 🦋

A (gasp!) golf post! ⛳️

💥 The new balls and putters have arrived! Each color is a different size - to find your fit, place the putter on the ground next to your leg. The one that is closest to your hip bone is for you. 👍🏻

Balls return to the shack at hole 18, please return putters to the rack they came from. ✌️

We’re official-er!

August 10th is our start date for tagging monarchs in our latitude - so I’ve started keeping an eye for caterpillars on the (so, so many) milkweed plants on the course.

Keeping water stations full, host plants in good shape and dead headed, and checking out the other cool visitors to the abundance! Today an American Painted Lady decided to sit tight and fill up while a couple of hummingbird moths made little baby moths?

Open daily 8-dark! New clubs and balls arrive this weekend, new score cards are refilled! (Sorry about that!)

This might not look terribly exciting - but it’s a little golf upgrade!

30 new putters and all new balls incoming! It was time. Most of what we have came with the place when we bought it. So, as promised, we are continuing to make upgrades as we can - the costs are no joke!

Now… what to do with the 4,872 old balls. ⛳️😮‍💨
