Last Thanksgiving, our community came together to make a meaningful difference in the lives of thousands of New Jersey families through the CARE Center of New Jersey's Food for HOPE Thanksgiving Food Drive! 💚

Thanks to the generosity of our incredible volunteers, donors, and community partners, we accomplished something extraordinary:

📦 2,600 Thanksgiving Food Boxes Distributed

🍎 104,000 Pounds of Food Distributed

💚 2,500 Families Served

But behind every number is something greater—a family receiving nourishment, a household experiencing relief, and a community coming together to share hope and compassion. 🤝✨

For many families experiencing food insecurity, preparing a Thanksgiving meal can be a challenge. At the CARE Center of New Jersey, we believe every family deserves the opportunity to gather around the table, share a nourishing meal, and celebrate Thanksgiving with dignity, joy, and hope. 🏡❤️

Through our 7th Annual Food for HOPE Thanksgiving Food Drive, we're bringing our community together to help make that possible—but we can't do it without YOUR support! 🤝✨

🛒 We're collecting food donations to help fill Thanksgiving boxes for families in need!

From turkeys and chickens to canned vegetables, stuffing, rice, pasta, and other Thanksgiving essentials, every donation helps us provide families with the food they need to enjoy a special holiday meal. 🥫🍎

💚 Behind every meal shared at Food for HOPE is a volunteer with a heart to serve! 🤝

At the CARE Center of New Jersey, we believe that volunteering is about more than giving back—it’s about building meaningful connections, uplifting others, and creating a community where everyone feels valued and supported.

Volunteers like Lucy remind us what true community looks like—showing up with compassion, dedication, and a willingness to make a difference.

After experiencing a difficult season of loss, Lucy found a renewed sense of hope, purpose, and joy through volunteering at Food for HOPE. As she beautifully shares, "This is my home... This is my happy place." 💚✨

Thanksgiving is a time for families to come together, share a meal, and create meaningful memories with loved ones. However, for many families facing food insecurity, putting a Thanksgiving meal on the table can be a challenge. 💚

At the CARE Center of New Jersey, we believe every family deserves the opportunity to celebrate Thanksgiving with dignity, nourishment, and hope.

Through our 7th Annual Food for HOPE Thanksgiving Food Drive, we're coming together to provide FREE Thanksgiving food boxes filled with fresh produce, holiday essentials, and a turkey or chicken to help families enjoy a meaningful holiday meal. 🥕🍎📦

The CARE Center of New Jersey is excited to partner with America's Grow-a-Row for a special Harvest Day on Friday, October 30! 🙌

Together, we're bringing our community together to harvest fresh produce and help provide nutritious food to families throughout New Jersey. 🥕🌽🤝

Every vegetable harvested represents more than just fresh food—it represents nourishment, dignity, hope, and the incredible impact we can make when we come together to care for our neighbors.

🧡 This Thanksgiving, let’s give thanks by giving back. 🦃🍂

The CARE Center of New Jersey is preparing for our 7th Annual Food for HOPE Thanksgiving Food Drive on Saturday, November 21, from 8 AM–12 PM!

This year, our community is coming together to distribute 100,000 lbs. of food to families in need, with pickup available at our Rockaway and Montclair locations.

Each registered household will receive a FREE Thanksgiving box filled with meat, fresh fruits and vegetables, and nonperishable foods. 💚📦
