Members of the Italian American Police Officers Society of New Jersey were happy to spend the weekend at the Special Olympics New Jersey Summer Games held at the College of New Jersey. They cheered on and encouraged participants while presenting gifts and medals to these amazing athletes. We are proud to be a sponsor of the Special Olympics and we thank our own Vincent Nardone for coordinating and leading at the event.

Congratulations to all of the amazing scholarship recipients that were recognized by the Italian American Police Officers Society of New Jersey this week at its Scholarship Awards Dinner at The Chandelier in Belleville. These scholarships are named in memory of Italian American law enforcement officers that are disceased. Many family members of the individuals that the scholarships are named after we're on hand to make the presentation to the college bound students. To date, the organization has awarded almost one half million dollars of it own funds to college bound students. We are proud of them as they are our future. Congratulations to these amazing students and their families.
