If you are looking for a beautiful, independent kitty who brings plenty of character into a room, Maple is your girl! This stunning
5-month-old lady is a "torbie" (tortoiseshell-tabby), which means she comes with a healthy dose of that famous, fabulous "torbie cattitude." 😎

Maple is a total cat's cat! She is incredibly playful and absolutely loves to spend her days wrestling, racing around, and hanging out with her foster brothers. Because she is so independent, she is definitely not a lap cat right now. She prefers to do things entirely on her own terms and is still working on building up her trust with humans.

While she likes other felines much more than people at the moment, her foster family is working with her every day, and she is making steady progress! Maple just needs a patient, experienced home that respects her boundaries and understands that the reward of earning a shy cat's trust is worth the wait.

Meet Stormy! 🌪️💙

Stormy is a beautiful, sweet soul who is ready to find a patient forever home! This handsome 5-month-old boy has a wonderful zest for life and two major loves: food and playtime. He is a certified big eater who never misses a meal, and the second a toy comes out, you can bet Stormy is always the absolute first one to jump in and start playing! 🎮🐾

Just like his sister Maple, Stormy is still deciding exactly how much he likes people. He is a bit shy and independent when it comes to humans, and his foster family is working patiently with him every single day to help build his confidence.

Stormy is making steady progress and just needs an understanding, low-pressure home that will let him blossom at his own pace. Because he relies so much on his feline companions for comfort and confidence, he would thrive in a household with another friendly, playful cat (or even adopted right alongside Maple!). Rescue Update: 5 Kittens Safely Pulled from Danger 🐾

Today brought a stark reminder of both the cruelty in the world and the power of swift rescue work. We were called out to assist a fellow rescuer with a heartbreaking scene: five tiny kittens, just 4-5 weeks old, had been dumped inside a trash dumpster loaded with broken windows and sharp debris.

Against all odds, it was an absolute miracle that we were able to navigate the mess, retrieve every single one of them, and bring them to safety completely uninjured.

These vulnerable babies are now resting comfortably in a warm foster home, far away from danger.

Meet Princess Buttercup! 👑🌸

True to her name, Princess Buttercup is royalty in feline form! This gorgeous 2 year old Ragdoll features long luscious fur as incredibly soft as cotton and a heart completely full of love. She is an outgoing, friendly girl who loves nothing more than being right by your side and curling up on your lap to soak up all the pets and chin scratches you can offer.

Princess Buttercup is partially blind in one eye, but she certainly doesn't let that define her! It doesn't affect her adventurous spirit one bit—she still scales cat trees like a champ. In fact, her absolute favorite spot in the house is lounging in the hammock bed at the very top of her cat tree, watching over her kingdom.

When it's time to play, she goes crazy for catnip toys and loves engaging interactive wand-toy sessions with her humans.

Household Preferences:
• As an Only Pet: She would be perfectly happy as the solo queen of the house, soaking up 100% of your love and attention.
• With Other Cats: She would do well with another calm, adult cat, provided they have a proper slow introduction and she has designated quiet spots to retreat to on her own.

💔 OUR HEARTS ARE COMPLETELY BROKEN 💔
Today, we lost this sweet, beautiful girl at only 10 months old. She had her whole life ahead of her, and it feels incredibly unfair that her time was cut so short. 😭

She spent Sunday up until today at REVS (Rochester Emergency Veterinary Services), fighting with everything she had. Our team and the vet staff did absolutely everything possible to save her life. She received extensive bloodwork, ultrasounds, x-rays and intensive supportive care—including IV fluids, antibiotics, FIP medications, stomach medications, and more.
Tragically, despite every effort, her little body just couldn't hold on. 🌈✨

Trying to save her has dealt a massive financial blow to our rescue. Our emergency veterinary bills came to $6,086.02. This is a huge hit to our medical fund, especially right as winter is approaching and our colony work continues.
