We have been working on Bohrer Alley in South Marketview Heights for some time now. At first it was clean up, then adding a community garden, then more clean up and attention to safety issues and a small event for the first murals. Now we are taking the next step for a celebration of the alley, its world reknowned historical cyclist, Nick Kaufmann (yes born on Weld Street) & his peer group of Elsa Von Blumen and Major Taylor and experiencing a bike rodeo for kids put on by our partners at SW Rotary Club, Rochester Accessible Adventures, Endless Highway, Injury Free Coalition for Kids of Rochester, RCommunity Bikes, and more. And then ...we will have Artists who have submitted their design for approval, work on their design and they may even invite you to help! Food trucks for your appetite and maybe you will want to help decorate a planter and listen to some music and watch the Borniquen Dance Theater perform on the alley! Come join us on June 13 from 10am-2pm
