Dutton Farm was envisioned by Michele Smither in 2009 from her 27 years of experience in caring for the physically, mentally and emotionally impaired. Having a daughter of her own with Downs Syndrome, she has firsthand experience on being the parent of a child with a disability. Over the years, Michele has received a growing recognition for her outstanding services and consistent support to famili

es with disabled children. She has successfully implemented 3 church programs, provided loving care to over 40 respite clients and over 20 foster children. Today, she plans to partner her experience and passion to step into her calling of providing a safe and loving environment that helps better prepare individuals with physical, mental and emotional impairments for life, employment and happiness.

Brianna recently joined her coworkers at Flourish Collection Senior Living for an impromptu Cinco de Mayo dance party.

Moments like these remind us that meaningful employment is about so much more than completing tasks. It's about belonging, connection, confidence, and community.

Through Dutton Farm's Supportive Employment Services, individuals like Brianna receive personalized job coaching that empowers them to build skills, develop relationships, and thrive in inclusive workplace environments.

Our job coaches work alongside supported employees and community partners to help create opportunities where people feel valued, included, and celebrated for who they are.

At Dutton Farm, we believe every person deserves the opportunity to live a life of purpose, inclusion, and dignity, and sometimes that purpose includes taking a break to dance with coworkers and simply enjoy being part of the team.
