On February 16, 1999, Brad began a journey of service that would span more than two decades and leave a lasting legacy on this Rochester, MN Fire Dept. and the community we serve. His earlier service in the United States Air Force shaped the discipline, courage, and character he brought into his firefighting career.

Over the years, Brad has exemplified what it means to be a true professional—steady under pressure, clinically skilled, and committed to doing what is right, not what is easy. In the toughest moments, he could always be counted on.

Brad’s retirement becomes effective at 0800 hours on May 29, 2026. We celebrate his remarkable career and congratulate him on a well‑deserved retirement. May the next chapter be filled with joy, adventure, and plenty of opportunities to share that unforgettable smile.
