Weekly meetings are held at Magnolia Blossom Cafe in Robertsdale on Tuesdays at 12PM. The more than 1.2 million worldwide members of Rotary are committed to humanitarian service, high ethical standards in all vocations, and goodwill and peace in the world. Like their fellow Rotarians in the 30,000 clubs in 166 countries, Robertsdale Rotarians represent a diverse group of

professional leaders — both currently employed and retired — working to address local and international service needs.

We would like to thank Director Tom Tyler with Baldwin County Emergency Management for speaking to us on Tuesday. He told us that EMA is working to update the emergency notification system. They are working to make sure the notifications go to those in the immediate and affected areas. We thank all of those working so hard to keep us safe. They deal with many things that most of us don't think about.

Happy Tuesday everyone. We had a great meeting today. Moxie McClay told us about her experience at District 6880 Rotary International District 6880 RYLA which was held at South Alabama July 19-23rd. RYLA stands for Rotary Youth Leadership Academy. She explained they had good speakers and worked together in teams on projects. She said she didn't know what to expect but had a good time. Great job Moxie!
David Hamidy, a teacher at Robertsdale High School Robertsdale High School Bear Nation stopped by to tell us about Robertsdale High School Cross Country and how he's trying to build the program. Thank you David.
Last but not least, we celebrated Doug's birthday. Cathy brought cake and ice cream🎂 thanks Cathy!

We were privileged to have two of the founders of The DASH Foundation of Baldwin County with us today. Jessica Devine and Renee Hawsey updated us on all their efforts to support those dealing with life changing medical issues. This group works so hard for others. If you like online auctions they are gearing up for a Christmas in July auction this weekend that will last a week. This is just one way they raise funds. Look for their Foundation of Baldwin County (Auction) page as well.
