A new season means new opportunities for the teens in our PATH Network. This fall, young people in Moldova will keep building the skills that set them up to thrive:

▪️Job readiness and workplace confidence
▪️Budgeting and independent living
▪️Counseling and emotional health
▪️Discipleship and spiritual growth

This picture shows the teaching of young people a set of skills as they had access to the Summit Center this summer.

Growing up is hard. Growing up without a safety net is harder.

Most children in Ukraine deal with sirens and bombs often. One school building is shared by two schools. This is due to children can only attend schools with bomb shelters. When a siren goes off during the school day, all the children have to go to the bomb shelter. Ukrainian children spend many hours in bomb shelters at their schools.

In one of our partner churches' communities, three days after school let out, missiles destroyed the local elementary school. The photo shows a young girl viewing her damaged school. Now these children realize an even harsher reality that sometimes the sirens aren't just warnings, the missiles can hit.

Our network of churches ministers to hundreds of children everyday. Because the children schools are split, children go to school only half a day. Our churches have day centers open for the other half of the day. These centers provide ministry to these war-torn children.

𝗪𝗲'𝗿𝗲 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗵𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀. 𝗪𝗲'𝗿𝗲 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝗣𝗔𝗧𝗛 𝘁𝗼𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗮 𝗳𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲.

For at-risk young men and women in Moldova, the journey toward adulthood can be filled with uncertainty. But we believe their future can be different.

Through the PATH Network, we're building a continuum of care that begins in our foundational homes, continues through the Summit Center with life skills, education, mentorship, and employment opportunities, and ultimately leads toward independence and meaningful lives within Christian community.

And we're dreaming even bigger.

A dedicated team of Moldovan professionals, supported by experienced partners in the United States, is working to document and develop this model so that what we're learning can eventually be shared and replicated by ministry partners throughout Moldova.
