Come hear from our new Sheriff, Anthony Lower! Saturday, November 2 at 8 AM, MamaLou's in Robertsdale.
Currently he is the Sheriff of Baldwin County, appointed by Governor Ivey, September 1st, 2024.
He served as Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office Chief Deputy from December 2018 to August 2024.
He began his tenure with the BCSO in 2007 as Civil Affairs Commander where he promoted to Assistant Chief Deputy of Law Enforcement Operations in 2013.
He previously was an investigator and chief investigator for the Baldwin County District Attorney’s Office for over 10 years.
Sheriff Lowery is a graduate of Session #252 of the FBI National Academy. He served as president of the Alabama Chapter of the FBI National Academy Associates, which was an eight-year commitment.
He is a graduate of Session #80 of the FBI Law Enforcement Executive Development Seminar (LEEDS).
He is currently the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office Project Manager for the construction of the $70M female expansion of the Baldwin County Corrections Center. A project that started in 2020 and is set to be finished in mid to late 2025.
Sheriff Lowery is a member of the Baldwin County 911 Board. Currently serving as Vice Chairman.
He is a Charter Member of the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office Foundation. He has worked tirelessly to raise funds and assist numerous philanthropic groups through this foundation.

Coach Austin Boyd, among other jobs, sponsors the Turning Point USA Chapter at Gulf Shores High School. He will bring a number of his students along to speak to us about TPUSA. These great kids are some of our budding future leaders who are strong believers in our American Values!
TPUSA is a 501(c)3 national, non-profit organization whose
mission is to identify, educate, train, and organize students to
promote freedom, free markets, and limited government.
Founded in 2012 by Charlie Kirk.
Turning Point USA believes that every young person can be
enlightened to true free market values! Our chapter at GSHS is
the LARGEST Club at our high school and LARGEST TPUSA
Chapter in the nation! Over 130 members and growing!
