It’s Monmouth weekend! Tomorrow, Saturday June 20, the 43rd will be at Monmouth Battlefield State Park to give the rebel colonials a good thrashing. Nothing can possibly go wrong.

Here’s what our POV looked like a few years back!

A particularly memorable Memorial Day Weekend for our unit. Our members were a part of a ceremony where one Pennsylvanian soldier and three British were reinterred, all the way up near Lake George.

The Continental casket contained the remains of a soldier from the 1st Pennsylvania Battalion. The flag draped over the coffin is a reproduction of the actual colors from the 1st Pennsylvania Battalion. There is only one original in existence and that is housed in a museum in Cincinnati. The Lake George Battlefield Alliance was given permission by the museum to reproduce this flag one time for this event under the condition it gets sealed in the crypt with the soldier.

Local news picked up the story, with our members Joe and Tyler leading the procession in their 2nd PA blues.

May we always remember those who gave their lives for our country 🇺🇸

Our regimental alter ego had an awesome time at Mt Vernon. Members had the opportunity to fall in with the Light Infantry for some scampering and some kneeling, as well as forming a core element of the Continental Line. 🇺🇸
