🖖🚀 Happy National Star Trek Day, Riverside! 🚀🖖

Beam us up, Riverside! On September 8, we’re celebrating National Star Trek Day — and we have a pretty special reason to celebrate!

🌟 Riverside is the future birthplace of Captain James T. Kirk! 🌟
For 60 years, Star Trek has inspired us to explore, dream big, embrace diversity, and boldly go where no one has gone before.

Mayor Allen Schneider has officially proclaimed September 8, 2026, as National Star Trek Day in Riverside!

So, grab your favorite Star Trek gear, channel your inner Captain Kirk, and celebrate the spirit of exploration, imagination, and discovery.

🖖 Live long and prosper, Riverside! 🖖

🐾 A little more Husky Pride at Highland Elementary!

Some new signage went up over the weekend, and it looks slick! This is another great addition to an already beautiful front entrance at our elementary building.

A special thank you to Riverside Area Community Club - Trekfest, Becky LaRoche, and Travis Riggan for their support in helping make this improvement possible! We’re incredibly grateful for the continued support of our community and the pride they take in Highland.

It’s pretty special to see that Husky Pride reflected right as you walk onto campus! 🐾
