VFW Auxiliary President Ruth Bridge Rencher with members earned the Circle of Excellence Award at the State Convention this past weekend. Required criteria in membership, Joint VFW & Auxiliary projects and activities were met. A monetary donation was also made to Camp Courageous, Monticello, IA at the Joint Business Session. A great weekend of business, fellowship and fun at the State VFW and Auxiliary Convention.

Come out and cheer on the Highland Huskies while we recognize the sacrifice, dedication, and commitment of those who have served and continue to serve our nation. Bring your family, friends, and community spirit as we celebrate our military heroes and enjoy an evening of Huskies baseball.

Due to the Karn Sands Bennifit June 12th Jerry and Margie's Catering will not be serving at the vfw 6414 that Friday! Jerry and Margie are donating their cheese potatoes and coleslaw.

VFW #6414 Riverside and Auxiliary recognized their scholarship recipients who were asked to read there 200 word essays, following Memorial Day Services at the Post Home. Following the presentation the awardees and family members were invited to join veterans, their families and guests for lunch provided by the Auxiliary.
