New faces in the game!!! 🐮🐷🐑

Our livestock kiddos took a trip to UTM for a livestock judging clinic to put their skills to the test! They worked on evaluating livestock, sharpened their judging skills, and gained some experience along the way!

Everybody starts somewhere, and we’re excited to watch this crew learn and grow! 💙💛

🦃🍂 THANKSGIVING IN A BOX! 🍂🦃

💙💛 Two organizations. One mission. One BIG impact! 💛🖤

This Thanksgiving season, Ripley FFA and Ripley BETA Club are teaming up to make a difference in our community! ❤️

Through our Thanksgiving in a Box Community Service Project, we hope to help local families enjoy a Thanksgiving meal filled with food, love, and a little extra holiday cheer! 🧡

📦 What’s in a box?

Each box will provide a Thanksgiving meal for approximately 4–6 people and include:

🍁 Boxed stuffing

🍁 Instant mashed potatoes

🍁 Gravy packets or jars

🍁 Canned green beans and corn

🍁 Cranberry sauce

🍁 Mac & cheese

🍁 Cornbread mix

🍁 Canned yams

🍁 Dessert mix or cookies

🍁 $15–$20 grocery gift card to purchase a turkey or ham

🛒 HOW CAN YOU HELP?

We are asking our community to come together and help us fill these boxes! Whether you donate a single item, a grocery gift card, or enough supplies for an entire box, every contribution brings us one step closer to making someone’s Thanksgiving a little brighter.

💙💛 As FFA members, we believe in Living to Serve, and we’re excited to partner with BETA Club to put those words into action!

🧡 Small acts make a BIG impact! 🧡

Let’s show our community what happens when we come together to serve others! 🦃🍁

💙💛 Ripley FFA has officially arrived in Indianapolis for the 99th National FFA Convention & Expo! 🎉

With 10 members, 2 advisors, and 1 special guest, we’re ready for an exciting few days in Indy!

Our blue jackets are packed, our walking shoes are ready, and our advisors are preparing to count heads approximately 500 times over the next few days! 😂

This week, our members will be attending workshops, participating in leadership activities, exploring the National FFA Expo, cheering on Tennessee FFA, and making memories that will last a lifetime!

We may not be walking across the big stage this year, but we’re here to learn, grow, make connections, and bring a little piece of Ripley, Tennessee, to Indy!

Here’s to 99 years of FFA and the next generation of agricultural leaders! 🌾

Indianapolis, you’ve been warned. Ripley FFA has arrived! 💙💛

💙💛 Ripley FFA Advisor Recognized at TAAE Conference! 💙💛

This week, Ripley FFA Advisor Mrs. Cheyenne Cagle attended the Tennessee Association of Agricultural Educators (TAAE) Conference, where she connected with agricultural educators from across Tennessee to collaborate, learn, and share ideas that will continue to strengthen agricultural education.

During the conference, Mrs. Cagle was honored with the National Association of Agricultural Educators (NAAE) 30-Minute Club Award, a national recognition presented to agricultural educators who dedicate time to promoting agricultural education and sharing the story of agriculture through public media outside of their home state.

Mrs. Cagle was also elected to serve as Co-Chair of the West Tennessee Marketing Plan Career Development Event (CDE), where she will help support and coordinate one of the region’s premier FFA competitions.

During the conference, Mrs. Cagle presented two professional development sessions. She first welcomed new agricultural educators by introducing them to valuable resources, professional networks, and tools available to support them as they begin their teaching careers. She also presented a separate workshop, “Non-Traditional Doesn’t Mean Unprepared,” where she shared practical strategies, organizational systems, and lessons learned from her journey as a non-traditionally certified agriculture teacher.
Ripley FFA is proud to have an advisor who is committed to serving the agricultural education profession while continually learning, leading, and investing in fellow educators. Congratulations, Mrs. Cagle, on these well-deserved accomplishments!
