MEMORIAL DAY FLAGS

The VFW Post 9673 is sponsoring the purchase and placement of Memorial Day Flags for the Lauderdale County area cemeteries where veterans are laid to rest. There are over 2,500 county veterans buried in various cemeteries throughout our county, and we ask for anyone interested in helping place flags or donate toward the purchase of flags, to contact Cathy Poston-Newman at (731) 612-3519. If you participated in helping last year, your flags will be available for pickup at 567 Hwy 51 North Suite C in Ripley May 17 and May 24.
