The Museum is closed in September, but we are definitely not taking the month off! We’re using this time to give the Republic History Museum a much-needed refresh. Displays are being moved, rooms are being rearranged, painting is happening, and we’re getting everything ready for what comes next.

We could still use some extra hands though so if you have a little time to help us move, sort, organize, clean, or set up displays, we’d be glad to have you. You do not need to know anything about history. Just come ready to help.

Send us a message or give us a call to learn more!

We hope all of our Republic students had a nice break and are settling back into school!

With school back in session, we thought it would be fun to look at Republic High School in 1928 compared to today. Republic has grown quite a bit since then, and so have our schools. For many families, several generations have walked these halls, learned here, and made their own memories along the way.

How many generations of your family have attended Republic schools? 🐯

Yes, we could’ve picked a cooler day, but we got everything tucked away in our new storage space at Keystone Storage on N Main Street. Great help made short work of it and they worked for food - lunch at Culver’s! Thanks Shadd, your special offer saves the historical society a significant amount.
