Building Redmond | Growth, Investment & Development

Meet the 2026 Building Redmond Honorees — four organizations recognized for Growth, Investment & Development.

Great places don’t happen by accident. They’re built by people who believe in a community enough to invest in it. Homes for working families, places for neighbors to gather, a world-class campus, and a family name woven into Redmond’s history: these four honorees are putting down roots and laying the foundation for the city’s next chapter.

Congratulations to this year’s Building Redmond honorees:
· Bellwether Housing
· MainStreet Property Group LLC
· Microsoft
· Nelson Legacy Group

Thank you for building the Redmond we’ll all call home for decades to come. We’re proud to celebrate you.

It's Member Monday, and we're celebrating the Birch Tree Academy Family!

This week, we're looking back at the September grand opening and ribbon cutting of Birch Tree Academy Redmond, where community connections and a strong sense of family took center stage!

Redmond City Council Vice President Angie Nuevacamina joined us for the official ribbon cutting, while the Birch Tree Academy team made the occasion extra special by presenting Hopelink with a giant donation check—a wonderful way to celebrate their new location while giving back to the community!

One of our favorite parts of the celebration was seeing directors from Birch Tree Academy's other locations come together to support their newest school. It was clear that this team is more than just colleagues—they're a family, and we loved seeing that spirit of support and connection in action.

Take a look back at this special celebration and join us in saying congratulations to the entire Birch Tree family!

🌿 A new space for a growing OneRedmond member!

We recently celebrated Blooming Leaf Counseling as they opened the doors to their new, larger location at Redmond Town Center. After five years at their original location, the team marked this exciting next chapter with an open house and ribbon cutting alongside Mayor Angela Birney, friends, colleagues, and members of the Redmond community.

From the warm, welcoming spaces to the wonderful team behind them, it was a joy getting a closer look at Blooming Leaf’s new home.

Take a quick walk through with us — and join us in congratulating Blooming Leaf Counseling on their continued growth in Redmond!

BHT pairs group purchasing with $0 care.

Don’t judge your renewal on the premium alone. Check what the business pays, what employees pay for care, and what’s included.

Business Health Trust brings more than 1,300 employers together for group purchasing power. Most BHT medical plans also include Nice Healthcare at no additional charge, giving eligible employees $0 primary care and mental health visits. Through our chamber, you can compare BHT plans with your renewal, including employer premiums, payroll deductions, costs when employees use care, and access to Nice.

🎨🎶 Four Saturdays. Countless performances, creative discoveries, and wonderful moments in the park.

That’s a wrap on Arts in the Park 2026!

Throughout September, Downtown Redmond Park came alive with music, theatre, dance, cultural performances, local makers, and community connections. From K-pop and orchestral music to theatre, piano, dance, and performances celebrating cultures from around our region, each Saturday brought something different to the park.

A huge thank you to all of the performers who shared their talents with us, and to the Eastside Made artisans who filled the park with creativity, locally made goods, and plenty to discover. We’re also grateful to the OneRedmond members and community organizations who joined us throughout the series and helped make each weekend feel distinctly Redmond.

And, of course, this series would not have been possible without the support of our sponsors and partners: 4Culture, Elevate Event Rentals, Experience Redmond, Expressions Arts, MainStreet Property Group LLC, Rotary Club of Redmond, and Signarama Redmond. Thank you for helping us create free, accessible arts experiences for our community!

Most of all, thank you to everyone who joined us. Whether you came for a favorite performer, discovered a local maker, brought the family for an afternoon in the park, or simply stopped to see what was happening—we loved sharing these Saturdays with you.

📸 We’re looking back at just a few of our favorite moments from Arts in the Park 2026. Take a look and let us know your favorite memory from the series!

Until next time, Redmond! 💛

OneRedmond, the City of Redmond, and the Redmond Space District were honored to welcome a delegation of space leaders from Saudi Arabia to Redmond as part of the U.S. Department of State’s International Visitor Leadership Program.

The visit brought together leaders from industry, government and education for conversations about Redmond’s growing space cluster, opportunities to strengthen international connections, and the future of the global space economy.

With nearly 60 years of space innovation and a thriving ecosystem spanning satellite manufacturing, propulsion, communications, software and emerging technologies, Redmond has an incredible story to share—and we’re excited to build relationships with space communities around the world.

Specials thank you to the World Affairs Council for organizing the visits and helping to showcase Redmond.

Thank you to our visitors, partners and local industry leaders for joining us for this opportunity to connect, exchange ideas and look toward what’s next.
