YOU CAN BREATHE AGAIN

“The steadfast of mind You will keep in perfect peace, because he trusts in You.”

There is a lot happening in people’s lives right now. Anxiety is loud. Fear is real. Pressure is heavy. Many people are carrying burdens they never talk about — family concerns, financial pressure, health issues, relational pain, uncertainty about the future. And in moments like these, peace can feel far away. But God never promised that peace would come only when everything around us is calm. He promised something far greater. He promised perfect peace to the person whose mind is fixed on Him.



That means peace is not the absence of trouble. Peace is the presence of God in the middle of trouble. The storm may still be raging. The answers may not all be clear. The circumstances may not have changed yet. But when your mind begins to turn from fear to faith, from panic to prayer, from “What if?” to “God is with me,” something begins to shift inside you.



You may not be able to control everything happening around you, but you can choose where you fix your mind. Fix it on the faithfulness of God. Lamentations 3:21-23 (NASB) says, “This I recall to my mind, Therefore I have hope. The LORD’S acts of mercy indeed do not end, For His compassions do not fail. They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness.”



Fix it on His promises. Fix it on the truth that He has not left you, He has not forgotten you, and He is not finished with you. Today, do not let fear have the loudest voice in your life. Take a breath. Speak His Word. Trust His heart. The God who holds tomorrow is holding you today. And because He is holding you — you can breathe again.
