Last week, our team came together for Spirit Week, celebrating the culture, connection, and community that make MCHS such a special place to work. We know that a strong team culture helps us show up as our best selves for the children, youth, and families we serve every day.

School is (almost) out, meaning summer is here!

Let’s make sure our youth are ready for it.

We’re collecting new clothing, swimsuits, sandals, and summer essentials for youth in foster care living in our Residential Treatment program. Every donation helps our youth feel confident, included, and prepared for all the moments that make summer special.

Some milestones mean a little more for youth in foster care.

Prom night is a celebration, but so is everything it took to get here. Since joining MCHS in 2024, Xavier has grown into a student-athlete, a soon-to-be graduate, and a young man ready for his next chapter.

This National Foster Care Awareness Month, we celebrate children like Jasper and the families who remind them they are wanted, valued, and never alone.

In September 2020, Jasper entered foster care. His mother was still a child herself, facing homelessness and mental health struggles, and his future was uncertain.

After years of transitions, court hearings, and reunification efforts, Jasper arrived at the home that would become his forever family.

After 4 years and 6 days of love, patience, and unwavering commitment, it became official: Jasper was adopted.

At his finalization hearing, Jasper picked out his own outfit and asked everyone to wear red, his favorite color. The courtroom was filled with a sea of red and an even greater reminder that Jasper is surrounded by love, family, and a forever home.
