For teens and young men navigating pressures that can pull them in the wrong direction, belonging matters.

So we build more than what happens on the field. Mentorship. Brotherhood. Relationships that extend beyond practice.

It’s to build a place they know they’re part of.

It’s not just a team.

It’s familia.

No solo estamos creando programas deportivos.

No se trata solo de canchas, equipos, torneos, entrenamientos o desarrollar habilidades.

Estamos creando un lugar al que puedan pertenecer.

Para los adolescentes y jóvenes que enfrentan presiones que pueden llevarlos por caminos equivocados, saber que pertenecen importa.

Por eso construimos más allá de lo que pasa en la cancha: mentoría, hermandad y relaciones que van más allá del entrenamiento.

Porque no se trata solo de formar mejores atletas.

Se trata de crear un lugar donde sepan que son parte de algo.

No es solo un equipo.

Es familia.

Motivation comes and goes. Talent can get you started. But discipline is what keeps you going.

Because there WILL be days you don’t feel like it. Days you don’t see big progress. Days when other options look easier.

Keep showing up anyway.

That’s discipline. That’s consistency. And it’s worth it.

One choice at a time. One day at a time. That’s how you come out ahead.

Motivación viene y va. El talento puede ayudarte a empezar, pero la disciplina es la que te mantiene.

Porque SÍ habrá días en los que no tengas ganas. Días en los que no veas grandes avances. Días en los que otras opciones parezcan más fáciles.

Your familia isn’t just the people you share blood with. It’s the people who truly love you. The ones who want what’s best for you, tell you the truth, care for you, and never make you feel like you have to prove your worth to belong.

Your legacy is what you leave for the people coming after you. What you break. What you build. The way you choose to love, lead, and live so the next generation has something different to inherit.

Your pueblo needs you whole.

Because a community doesn’t change just because someone comes in to help.

It changes when its own people get involved. When young people realize that what they do, the choices they make, and how they treat the people around them all affect the place they call home.

That’s why MARKED isn’t just about soccer, food, or activities. It’s about showing up, building trust, and creating spaces where our people can grow and move forward.

Because this is our pueblo.
And what happens here matters to all of us.

Tu pueblo te necesita pleno.

Porque un pueblo no cambia solo porque alguien venga a ayudar.

Cambia cuando su propia gente se involucra. Cuando los jóvenes se dan cuenta de que lo que hacen, lo que deciden y cómo tratan a los demás también tiene un impacto en el lugar donde viven.

Por eso MARKED no se trata solo de fútbol, comida o actividades. Se trata de estar presentes, construir confianza y crear espacios donde nuestra gente pueda crecer y salir adelante.

Summer afternoons in the pueblo.

Sunny days, a creative team, food in the streets, soccer, and a lot of time spent just being together.

The conversations on the side of the road. The kids who come running when they see us. The games that start up while we’re there. The extra few minutes that turn into an hour.

Even the time of day we go out is intentional. Because being in the pueblo isn’t just about what we bring. It’s about knowing when to show up, being present, and making the most of every moment we have together.

There’s a lot of good that can happen on an ordinary summer afternoon.

Tardes de verano en el pueblo.

Días de sol, un equipo creativo que trae toda la energía, comida en las calles, fútbol y mucho tiempo simplemente estando juntos.

Las pláticas en la banqueta. Los niños que salen corriendo cuando nos ven. Los juegos que empiezan mientras estamos ahí. Esos minutos de más que terminan convirtiéndose en una hora.

Hasta la hora a la que salimos es intencional. Porque estar en el pueblo no se trata solo de lo que llevamos, sino de saber cuándo estar, estar presentes y aprovechar cada momento juntos.

Hay mucho que puede pasar en una tarde cualquiera de verano.

It’s not just about sports.

We love soccer. We love track and field. And we know how powerful they can be for physical and mental health.

But we’re after something bigger.

Sports are the starting point. They give us a reason to show up, meet people where they are, and build something together.

Especially from 15–25, people are searching for community, purpose, and people in their corner. We want to be there for that.

Community. Brotherhood. Mentorship. Opportunity.

Sports seasons end, but what we build together lasts.

No se trata solo de deportes.

Nos encanta el fútbol. Nos encanta el atletismo. Y sabemos lo poderosos que pueden ser para la salud física y mental.

Pero buscamos algo más grande.

El deporte es el punto de partida. Nos da una razón para estar presentes, encontrarnos con las personas donde están y construir algo juntos.

Especialmente entre los 15 y 25 años, las personas están buscando comunidad, propósito y personas que estén a su lado. Queremos estar ahí para eso.

Comunidad. Hermandad. Mentoría. Oportunidades.

Las temporadas deportivas terminan, pero lo que construimos juntos permanece.

We were so excited to spend an afternoon in San Juan Tecomatlán, reconnecting with friends and making lots of new ones!

We shared baskets of pantry staples with families and spent the afternoon in the main square with coloring, bracelet making, face paint, snacks and soccer (of course!). But more than anything, we were there to spend time together, get to know more of the community, and listen and learn how we can best serve San Juan Tecomatlán.

Such a privilege, and such a fun afternoon with new friends!

¡Nos dio muchísimo gusto pasar una tarde en San Juan Tecomatlán, reencontrándonos con amigos y haciendo muchos nuevos!

Compartimos despensas con familias y pasamos la tarde en la plaza principal con dibujos para colorear, pulseras, pintacaritas, snacks y fútbol (¡por supuesto!). Pero más que nada, estuvimos ahí para convivir, conocer más a la comunidad y escuchar y aprender cómo podemos servir mejor a San Juan Tecomatlán.

¡Qué privilegio y qué tarde tan bonita compartiendo con nuevos amigos!
