On Thursday August 8 I was transplanted with my new kidney from a deceased donor. I received “the call “ on Wednesday night at about 9 pm to be at the hospital by 7 am. Today I am being released from the hospital to go home and recover. I want to thank everyone who shared, liked, tested or prayed for me. I especially want to thank Fitness with an Illness Ryan Overall for his unwavering dedication to promoting and educating about kidney disease awareness. It’s still a journey but I’m walking down that path with positivity and love in my heart. 💚
