Team 2 came to play today !
Hawaiian Day .. bday month celebration , announcements , and conversations!

Our speakers, Elizabeth Schroeder and Sarah Perry, represent One SAFE Place Shasta . Both spoke to the many many services that is provided in their organization. By working together they meet the many needs of trauma and drama that so many families are faced with .
A wonderful organization doing wonderful things .
And our own Rotarian Tyler Rowley is a competitor this year for Dancing with the Stars. You go Tyler!

Redding East Rotary today :
We honored a true Rotarian and exceptional human Eric Woodstrom.
Always served above himself.
May he rest in peace .

Team 1 led the way.
We held the blood drive today and our meeting was a busy one.
So many announcements ,
Recognitions and camaraderie.
Our presentation was given by CEO of Shasta Regional Medical Center Sam Itani and Dr. Bawa
Chief Medical Officer .
Sam shared a vision for Redding and the services SRMC will share now and in the future .
A very informative luncheon .
We are the funnest Rotary Club!

Our speaker today was Mark Endraske . Mark is a professional educator with deep roots in Redding .
Mark is the Director of Employer Partnership. Shasta College
Connecting businesses in the region with economic and workforce development programs.
Mark shared different ways that Shasta College can partner with businesses.

Another great Luau lunch meeting .
So much goin on among the Redding East Rotary
Announcements, recognitions, and our “lei”treasure hunt. We also had a waterfall display by Joe Chimenti as he attempted to pour water.

The Shasta Library Foundationwas our presenters today.
Shauna Bambino Executive Director and Julie Parsons the Library Director were our speakers.
Both ladies shared the many benefits to the library a special place offering a safe place and connection through books and beyond.

A fun full day!

Our presenter today shared the recent Shasta county innovations grant program that is offered through Lotus educational services.
It is a youth, rapid response team for youth and young adults 5 to 25 who are struggling with any type of su***de related distress.
It will include same day crisis response and ongoing stabilization services for the young person and their family .
A very exciting program

Redding East Rotary team 3
led our meeting .
Had several visitors join the best Rotary group.
Josh Littlefield did not get l’ei’d 🌸 today 🥲
Holly King and Lael Barlow
are with office of Ed .
Today they both shared with us the program “Reading Pals”.
A non profit organization that offers our youth an adult reading pal to read with the kiddos and help them in growth and learning .
Their mission is to offer
1. community engagement
2. Strategic identification of student.
3. Educational excellence
4. Connection to home and future .
Reading PALs brings positive childhood experiences to so many youth in our counties.
A very fulfilling meeting today
