Serving our Veterans and our community

🇺🇸❤️ Calling All Young Patriots! ❤️🇺🇸

The VFW Auxiliary 7765 invites all the youth in our community to join us for a special Veterans Day Card-Making Event!

📅 Saturday, November 7
⏰ 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM
📍 VFW Post 7765
30 Elizabeth Street, Red Hook, NY

Come spend a little time with us making heartfelt thank-you cards for the brave men and women who have served our country! 🇺🇸

☕🍪 We’ll have hot chocolate and cookies for everyone to enjoy!

Children can leave their finished cards with us to distribute to the veterans at our Post, or take them home to personally thank a veteran of their choosing.

This is a FREE event, and all ages are welcome! Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

We hope to see lots of smiling young faces as we come together to teach the next generation what Veterans Day is truly about — honoring, appreciating, and thanking those who have served our great nation.

❤️ Sometimes a simple handmade card and a heartfelt THANK YOU can mean the world to a veteran!

🇺🇸 We hope to see you there! 🇺🇸

The Major Richard Star Act has bipartisan support and its own legislative path. TCAVA would fund the bill by reducing benefits for future veterans.

Veterans expect Congress to pass the clean Major Richard Star Act when it votes in November.
