North Shrewsbury Ice Boat & Yacht Club The North Shrewsbury Ice Boat & Yacht Club is proud to call Red Bank, NJ its home. Our club is the oldest in iceboat history!

Tthe racing capital if iceboating is Red Bank, NJ. The town's logo is the iceboat and is even placed in decorative bricks on the center of town. In 1880, eight merchants/sailors created the club for racing.

The Lake Hopatcong Iceboat Yacht Club set up the Ours at the Antique Boat Show at Lake Hopatcong. Ice is in the drinks.

Hello Everyone, the Iceboat Club has lost an incredible gentleman. There will be services this Saturday. Bob was a long time member and very generous to the club. He also built the Vanguard, a beautiful Aboat with a unique steering system, the Vanguard was sailed this year. Picture below from years ago.

So I have tried posting pictures from this site and can't. Check out the pictures from there but thanks to Ethan, Becky, Teddy, Jack, and Choppy as we as others. Instead of sitting around waiting for winds to calm they took Buddy from the ceiling, made new sail, rigging, sharpened runners and Alot more.
