⭐️ Meet the Artists of our Annual Member Exhibit: FEAST

We’re excited to introduce the 45 Monmouth Arts members participating in our 2026 Annual Member Exhibit, FEAST, at the Oyster Point Hotel in Red Bank.

From indulgence and appetite to ritual, identity, pleasure, and longing, these artists bring their unique perspectives to this year’s theme. We’re thrilled to showcase such a diverse group of talented artists from across our creative community.

We're excited to announce our 2026 Annual Member Exhibit: FEAST at the Oyster Point Hotel in Red Bank!

The exhibition features work by 45 Monmouth Arts members, reflecting the creativity, diversity, and vibrant artistic spirit of Monmouth County.

The FEAST opening reception will be held Friday, September 11 from 6-8pm. Guests are invited to experience the artists’ interpretations of this year’s theme while enjoying refreshments, live music by A REAL HUMAN JAZZ BAND, and the opportunity to meet many of the featured artists. The exhibition will remain on view through November 2.

The Monmouth County Senior Art Show exhibit is now on view!

The 2026 Monmouth County Senior Art Show is officially on display at the Monmouth County Library Headquarters in Manalapan. Come experience a remarkable collection of artwork created by talented artists across Monmouth County. From painting and photography to mixed media and more, this exhibit celebrates the creativity, skill, and artistic vision of our local senior community.

Monmouth Arts is deeply saddened by the passing of Vincent Pastore.

We were honored to recognize Vinny with the Monmouth Arts Artistic Achievement Award during our 50th Anniversary Golden Celebration. It was a privilege to celebrate his remarkable career and the joy he brought to so many.

Our heartfelt condolences go out to his family, friends, and loved ones during this difficult time.

Rest in peace, Vinny. You will be missed.

⭐️ Bring on the Funk: Where the Arts Get Down Honoree Highlight ⭐️

Leading up to our annual gala, we’re spotlighting this year’s honorees — this week, we highlight Dorothea Bongiovi.

Dorothea Bongiovi is the Founder and Program Director of the , a Pay-it-Forward community restaurant model that serves in-need and paying customers. With 2 locations in NJ and one on the campus of Rutgers University-Newark, these restaurants have served over 200,000 meals to address student food insecurity.

Dorothea is a recipient of the NJ and National Jefferson Award for Volunteer Leadership. She also received a Silver Stevie Award, which recognizes women in leadership roles. She is the wife of Jon Bon Jovi and the mother of 4.

We're officially halfway through another incredible summer of Creative Expressions! ☀️🎨

Over the past several weeks, we've watched young people across Monmouth County explore their creativity, build confidence, make connections, and discover new ways to express themselves through the arts.

As we celebrate the midpoint of the season, we're also proud to share a major milestone: since launching the program, Creative Expressions has reached nearly 3,000 youth participants through free arts and wellness programming in our community.

A heartfelt thank you to our amazing partners, teaching artists, mental health professionals, and participants who make this work possible every day. We can't wait to see what the second half of the summer brings!

The deadline to submit your work for FEAST, the Monmouth Arts Annual Member Exhibition, is Monday, July 27th.

For this exhibition, we're looking for artwork that explores FEAST in all its forms – themes of indulgence, consumer culture, ritual, identity, appetite, inequality, pleasure, and longing.

This year's exhibition is curated by author and award-winning artist, Tova Navarra, and will be on view at the Oyster Point Hotel in Red Bank from September 4 - November 2.
