Monmouth Arts is pleased to announce the ArtHelps Local Arts Program awards for Fiscal Year 2027, made possible through our partnership with the New Jersey State Council on the Arts.

A total of $145,000 in grants will support 29 local nonprofit arts organizations that bring high-quality arts programs, events, and experiences to residents throughout Monmouth County. The awards also include six $500 grants earmarked for small and emerging organizations as they grow their impact in our community.

Join us for our Dia de Mu***os DIY Skull Makeup Workshop on Friday, October 23rd!

In collaboration with the Borough of Red Bank, Monmouth Arts offers this free event to community members who are looking to learn how to paint their own Calavera (Skull) makeup and more about what the tradition represents. This workshop will be coordinated by Gina Hernandez as la Catrina, Dulzura Eterna.

As the visionary force behind Parliament-Funkadelic, Clinton revolutionized funk by blending soul, rock, psychedelia, and R&B into the groundbreaking P-Funk sound. His boundary-pushing creativity earned him induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award.

From iconic anthems like “Give Up the Funk (Tear the Roof Off the Sucker),” “Flash Light,” “One Nation Under a Groove,” and “Atomic Dog” to his lasting influence on hip-hop as one of the most sampled artists in music history, Clinton’s impact on popular culture is immeasurable. Jude Harzer’s work has evolved directly from her position as an observer. She is deeply interested in the psychological power of the human gaze, particularly as expressed through women and children. This collection of work represents her drive to create space for connection, contemplation, and the complex emotional gravity inherent in observation.

CALL FOR ENTRIES: ArtSpace 2027 Exhibits

Monmouth Arts invites its members to propose an exhibition in our gallery and event space at 99 Monmouth Street in Red Bank! 🖼️

Applications for five solo and small group exhibitions for 2027 are being accepted through November 9th. Please read through the guidelines before submitting your application through Submittable, our free online application platform. Artists who would like to submit to this opportunity may become members at the $40 artist rate.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the opening reception of FEAST! We had so much fun celebrating the artists and their work.

This year’s Charles Sills Memorial Group Art Exhibition features work by 45 Monmouth Arts members, reflecting the creativity, diversity, and vibrant artistic spirit of Monmouth County.

From indulgence and appetite to ritual, identity, pleasure, and longing, these artists bring their unique perspectives to this year’s theme. We’re thrilled to showcase such a diverse group of talented artists from across our creative community.

A special thank you to our curator, Tova Navarra, and Caryl Sills for joining us and for her ongoing support of the arts.
