Dolly’s impact reached right here into the Antietam Valley 🧡📚

Since AVCP joined Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library in 2025, 559 free books have been sent to children in the 19606 zip code.

That’s 559 opportunities to read together, discover a new story, and help build a lifelong love of books.

Today, we join so many around the world in remembering the incredible Dolly Parton. ❤️

Through Dolly Parton's Imagination Library her generosity and belief in the power of reading have reached millions of children, including children right here in our own community.

AVCP is proud to be a local partner in the program that represents such a meaningful part of Dolly’s legacy. Every book that arrives in the hands of one of our local children is a small reminder of the difference one person can make.

We are grateful to play even a small part in carrying forward her extraordinary legacy:
