AVCP will be collecting donations at the Antietam Valley Farmers' & Artists' Market on Monday June 1 to benefit the Yeager family.

The tragic passing of Officer Kristen Yeager has hit so many people and we’re reminded how important community is. Office Yeager had deep ties to the Antietam Valley, from her service and commitment with Central Berks Police Department to family and friends living, working, and volunteering within the community.

To honor Officer Yeager’s dedication to service and community, and to give back to the family that is missing her so much, the AVCP would like to provide an opportunity to make a donation to the Yeager Family.

Monetary and gift card donations will be collected at the ACVP table at the farmer’s market this Monday, June 1st from 5-7 pm.

While we know no amount of money will undo the hurt and sadness the loss of remarkable person has caused, we hope it will help ease some of the burden and worry for the family as they navigate this difficult time.

Officer Yeager served our community with courage, compassion, and unwavering dedication. She answered the call to protect and serve each day, placing the safety of others above her own. Her commitment to her badge, her fellow officers, and the citizens she served will never be forgotten.

We ask that you keep Officer Yeager’s family, friends, and our entire law enforcement family in your thoughts and prayers during this incredibly difficult time.

Rest easy, Officer Yeager. Your watch has ended, but your legacy of service and sacrifice will live on forever. We got it from here.
