Oooh, this one is a classic!

Join us this Wednesday as we watch 'But I'm a cheerleader', a comedy/romance in which we follow Megan, a high school cheerleader who's parents, suspecting her to be a le***an, sent her to a conversion camp.

While touching on such a delicate topic, this satire shows how hypocritical and out-of-touch some ~humans~ decide to be, while sharing a powerful message of acceptance through adversity, development of community and finding your chosen family.

We'll have popcorn, sodas, juices, and a debrief after! And of course, we will be there to navigate feelings that might arise.

The Spectrum is continuing its meetings over the Summer! Thanks to , who we are partnering with, you can find community, fun, and new friends starting this Wednesday, June 3rd ☀️ just in time for PRIDE MONTH!!! 🏳️‍🌈

The address is 640 Centre Ave., Reading, PA, 19601. You can come in through the back entrance of Calvary United Church of Christ, which has a rainbow banner at their front.

If you are coming from up north down Centre Ave, just turn right on Centre Ave and Oley St, and you will see the parking lot.

If you are coming from the south, it's just a matter of turning left on Centre Ave and Oley.

You can also arrive through N 3rd street, as you can come in right through the parking lot.

Once you are in the parking lot, you will see a banner identifying The LGBT Center. Just ring the bell, and we'll let you in!

Last week, we had an amazing conversation on coping mechanisms and stress, so learning new and healthier ways to manage stress in our lives seemed like a good idea 💡
