It's a crazy time right now and we are all saddened by all the cancellations but this will pass. Today is a somber reminder that the sacrifices we are making right now are nothing compared to those that made the ultimate sacrifice. BSA has gotten a lot of press over the years, some good, some bad, but this is the Boy Scouts of America that I know and love.

All three Troops are filled but we are still taking registrations! We have exactly enough people to fill the three Troops we plan on taking but inevitably there will be kids that drop out or can't end up making it. Now that the craziness of the Holiday season is behind us, it's time to start looking forward. Hawk Mountain is planning on taking 3 Troops to the Jamboree in 2021. Two of those troops are already full and we have started on the third. Have you registered your son or daughter yet?

The Jamboree is a great experience for many reasons. There is a lot to do and it's on a scale most Scouts will have never experienced. However, we think oneof the greatest parts of the Jamboree is friendships that are formed that will last a life time. Can't put a price tag on that. Have you registered your Scout yet?
