THE RAYTOWN FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT BOARD OF DIRECTORS IS PLEASED TO ANNOUNCE THE APPOINTMENT OF MICHAEL ROGERS AS THE NEXT FIRE CHIEF OF THE RAYTOWN FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT.

AFTER SERVING AS INTERIM FIRE CHIEF SINCE MARCH, CHIEF ROGERS WAS UNANIMOUSLY SELECTED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS TO LEAD THE DISTRICT MOVING FORWARD.

"I AM HONORED AND HUMBLED BY THE CONFIDENCE THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS HAS PLACED IN ME. I LOOK FORWARD TO CONTINUE TO SERVE THE MEMBERS OF THIS DEPARTMENT AND THE CITIZENS OF RAYTOWN WHILE BUILDING ON THE STRONG FOUNDATION ESTABLISHED BY THOSE WHO CAME BEFORE ME." — CHIEF ROGERS
