The tower held. Barely.

Social group at our Lafayette campus this week, and Jenga had everyone locked in — careful hands, a few nervous laughs, and one very slow reveal of the block everyone knew was going to end it.

Adults with developmental disabilities need the same thing everyone else does: a table to sit at, people who know their name, and a reason to laugh together. Between skill-building and hands-on electronics recycling, this is the other half of the day at Green Vision — the part where friendships get built.

Morning at our Lafayette campus, before the crew walks in.

Stations and stools wiped down, bins labeled and sorted. A batch of electronics pulled out and set nearby so the crew can pick what they want to take apart. Tools laid out. By the time everyone gets in, it's all set for the day.

We set it up this way on purpose. When the room's the same every morning, everyone walks in already knowing where things are and what's next. That steadiness is the whole point.

Fresh air break at Lafayette.

Some of the best parts of the day at Green Vision don't happen on the recycling floor. They happen out on a lunchtime walk where Patrick, Michael, Charlie, Chris, Dean, Richie, and Brian get to stretch their legs and chat about whatever comes up.

Nobody was in a rush to head back in. ☀️

Where there's a Will, there's a way — and today the way runs straight through a Dell desktop! 🖥️

Will spent the morning at our Lafayette campus breaking this machine down to its base parts, one panel and one screw at a time. Safety glasses on, gloves on, tools in hand.

What you're watching is focus, problem-solving, and following a task from start to finish. Green Vision is a day program for adults with developmental disabilities built inside a real electronics recycling operation in Sussex County — hands-on tasks, real routine, real progress you can see.

Way to go, Will! That desktop didn't stand a chance.

Full-circle kind of day. 🌿

The zucchini started in our garden at Green Vision's Lafayette campus. Paul picked some, took it home, and his mom Cindy turned it into homemade zucchini bread — then brought a whole plate back to share with the crew.

By the time we thought to take a picture, there were two slices left. That should tell you everything. 😋

Little moments like this are a big part of what the day actually feels like — a place where people are known, where families are part of things, and where a loaf of zucchini bread can make everybody's afternoon.

Thanks, Cindy! 💚

Happy birthday, Patrick! 🎉

Twelve-plus years with Green Vision, and today the Lafayette crew sang, lit the candles, and made a whole thing of it. Because when someone’s been part of your day that long, you show up for theirs.

Happy birthday, Patrick. Glad you’re here. 💚

A great night out at the Somerset Patriots game last Thursday. ⚾

Big thanks to Plan|NJ and Kerry Lee for the invite. Almost 50 members of the Green Vision family came out to TD Bank Ballpark, joining 500+ people from across New Jersey's disability community for a night in the stands.

Baseball, hot dogs, fireworks, and a whole lot of good company. Nights like this don't happen without people who go out of their way to make them happen — so thank you, Plan|NJ, for including us.

Hard to beat. Grateful to be part of it.

Paul made this — and most of it came straight off our Lafayette floor.

Look closely and you'll find screws, bolts, a fan, and processors pulled from electronics that came through our doors. Paul picked the parts, planned the layout, and built the whole wreath by hand.

A little piece of Green Vision, made from the things we take apart every day.

Love this, Paul! ♻️ 💚

Come see where the day happens.

Our Lafayette campus is open and enrolling — structured skill-building and support for adults 21+ with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Sussex County and across Northern New Jersey.

Hands-on electronics recycling is the setting. What gets built here is what matters: routine, communication, confidence, and greater independence. There's room to breathe, room to connect, and room to slow down when someone needs it.

Schedule a tour and see it for yourself.

Dean brought his guitar in today and played us a set during social group. 🎸

Backdrop, string lights, amp plugged in — the whole setup. Turns out one of our dismantlers has some real guitar skills he'd been keeping quiet.

Social group is where the day slows down a bit: peers, staff, shared interests, and every once in a while, a surprise concert. 👏👏
