Four years. More than $7 million raised. And behind every dollar is a story of someone choosing to show up for the men and women who show up for Raleigh every single day. 💙
Today, the Raleigh Police Department Foundation celebrates four years of supporting the officers who serve our city.
In just four years, our donors, partners, businesses and community have helped us raise more than $7 MILLION to invest directly back into Raleigh’s officers and the work they do.
That support has helped fund equipment that keeps officers safer. Technology that helps them do their jobs more effectively. Wellness resources that care for the people behind the badge. Training, programs and opportunities that strengthen our department. And initiatives that help build stronger relationships between our officers and the community they serve.
But this anniversary isn’t really about a number.
It’s about what that number represents.
It represents a community saying, “We see you. We appreciate you. And we’re behind you.”
Four years ago, the Raleigh Police Department Foundation began with a mission to support the Raleigh Police Department beyond what traditional funding can provide. Today, because of an incredible community that believed in that mission, more than $7 million has been raised to help make that support a reality.
To every donor, sponsor, partner, board member, volunteer and supporter who has been part of these first four years: thank you.
And most importantly, to the officers of the Raleigh Police Department: everything we do begins and ends with you.
We are incredibly proud of what these first four years have made possible.
