Queensbury EMS Organized in 1957, the Bay Ridge Rescue Squad, Inc. Our primary coverage area is the Bay Ridge and South Queensbury Fire Districts.

is one of three emergency squads serving the residents and visitors of the Town of Queensbury, which is located in southern Warren County, NY. We currently operate two Advance Life Support (ALS) ambulances and one ALS Medic 1st Response Unit. Recently we went online with narcotics. ve your community? Joining the Bay Ridge Rescue Squad is easy and new applicants are always welcome! Our monthly drill is held the 1st Wednesday of every month at 7:00 PM and all EMS providers are welcome! CME certificates are issued for all trainings. Our monthly meeting is held the 3rd Wednesday of every month at 7:00 PM. The Bay Ridge Rescue Squad is dispatched by the Warren County Sheriff’s Department on the Fire Alert frequency 154.175 MHz and communicates with EMS Control on the EMS Control frequency 155.295 MHz. Additionally, the Bay Ridge Rescue Squad holds FCC licenses to operate two frequencies to be used for squad activities…they are 159.600 MHz which is designated “BRRS-RPT”and 155.160 MHz which is designated “BRRS-OPS”.

Tonight, Queensbury EMS members spent the evening sharpening their skills in patient lifting and moving and safe pediatric transport.

Crews reviewed the mechanics of force and movement, even using eggs for a hands-on demonstration of how forces can affect a patient during movement and transport.

We then put those concepts into practice with two pediatric scenarios: a pediatric patient with a leg injury and a pediatric medical call. Providers worked through patient assessment, safe lifting and movement, transport considerations, communication, and teamwork.

When the patient is small, the details matter. Tonight was about practicing those details before they’re needed on a real call.

This past Sunday Queensbury EMS got to do their annual Washington County Fair () standby. The Weather held out and it was a lot of fun and we hope everyone else enjoyed the day as much as we did.

We would like to thank the Easton-Greenwich Rescue Squad () for once again Inviting us down to do this standby. Our members absolutely love attending this event and we thank you for giving us the opportunity to support you guys and let us assist in your district coverage of the fair. It was always great working alongside our brothers and sisters in EMS when we all have the same goal of keeping everyone safe and healthy. It's wonderful to be able to work with each other and be united with the passion for the job and the same caring attitude we strive to make everyone feel better when called upon.

We would also like to thank Washington County, NY - Department of Public Safety EMS division for their work that day as we teamed up to give the absolute best patient care to those who needed it.

Queensbury EMS is thrilled to host the SECOND ANNUAL nighttime benefit golf tournament. A glowing, adrenaline‑packed two‑person scramble under the lights at Sunnyside Par 3!
