Personal Impact Foundation To impact the dental, medical, and law school curricula by including personal development/growth skills as a mandated curricular offering.

To provide evidence based training to reduce stress, substance abuse, and decrease su***de risk in the student population and past graduates of dental, medical, and law schools. To be the source of personal development/growth research and training for dental, medical, and legal professional organizations. Why - For many decades; many dental, medical, and legal professionals have statistically been

ranked in the top ten professions at risk for su***de and have a high percentage of substance abuse. PIF and its Board of Directors believe now is the time to address this situation. Based on research and “outcomes” from the past one hundred plus years, now substantiated with current brain imaging technology, we have/are developing evidence based curricular offerings. Just because of the vast scope of this situation, doesn’t deter our commitment to transforming these industries/professions. Even one more life lost, profession compromised, family and community affected is one too many. Each of us benefits and requires the services and care from these professionals. The time for action is now. (There are mandates requiring addressing these problems within each of these professions in the coming years.) How - These programs will be offered at no charge to the teaching institution. There are coping techniques and behavior patterns, when adapted, will lesson and most likely eliminate behaviors that in the past/currently have lead to substance abuse, long term depression, and su***de. Some of the teaching will be provided live on-site, other will be live-streamed to educational facilities, and even more will be provided thru video access. Board of Directors:
