Pueblo West Women Who Care

This quarter we donated $1,225 to Pueblo Child Advocacy Center. They serve Pueblo West and all of Pueblo County, and are the 1st of their kind in Colorado (the 6th of their kind in all the United States) to serve children suffering from abuse. Working with law enforcement and a multi-disciplinary taskforce of government and healthcare departments, they see over 300 kids per year. This is their 40th year performing this monumental task, and we are a safer and healthier community because of the work they do!

Whoo-hoo-hoo! Join Women Who Care in 1 week. Like a non-profit which serves Pueblo West and helps you or your family out? Tell us how they help and join us to vote on 1 non-profit to win all the donations this coming Wednesday, May 6th. 5:30 p.m. at E and J’s Pizzeria, 74 Component Drive, #110 in Pueblo West. We are strengthening our community all while we network with other women. In less than 2 weeks, we will hold another Women Who Care event for our own Pueblo West. If you are too busy to volunteer, but want to support non-profits who help Pueblo West, join us at 5:30 p.m. at E&J's Pizzeria in the Walmart shopping center. Our latest donation recipient sure could use your help. Thanks to the guys from the Troop 007 Pueblo West, CO for helping out with the Spring clean up at the Pueblo West Xeriscape Gardeners at Cattail Crossing. There's always more ways to help with clean-up efforts, so contact the gardeners on their page to volunteer your time and muscle!
