Thank you to our Pryor High School Rotary Interact Club for helping with our service project last week!

We assembled medical information kits to be handed out to law enforcement, first responders, and individuals. These kits allow you to put all your medical information (prescriptions, emergency contacts, etc.) in one convenient place and store in your glove box or home in the event of an emergency. We've already passed out over 500 of these kits in Mayes County and we won't stop until everyone has an opportunity to get one!

Our club was well represented at Rotary District 6110 Conference this weekend!

It was an honor to have Leah White as our 4 Way Speech contestant, she did amazing!
Tracey and Maria graduated from the District Leadership Academy!
The Foundation dinner was full of great information and we looked so fancy!

Events like this strengthen our bonds with other clubs, gives opportunity for idea exchanges, and shares the latest information at the District level. It was a great event and we can't wait to do it again next year!

Today we celebrated the Top 10% of Pryor High School Seniors! We have enjoyed seeing these students grow into young leaders within our community and can't wait to see how they shape the future!

🌎 Happy Earth Day 🌎
Rotarians cleaned Centennial Park this weekend and got it ready for spring visitors! We cleaned up trash, pruned trees and shrubs, put down new mulch and swept the pavilion.
This park is our gift to the citizens of Pryor and the park cleanup is one of our annual service projects. A very special thank you to Thunderbird Challenge and PHS students for helping us today - you are appreciated!

What a great meeting this week!
Thanks to generous donors at our Annual Pancake Breakfast, we were able to donate $565 to the Rockin G Animal Shelter!

Then we got to hear a selection from our PHS Choir and they are outstanding! The High School musical is The Sound of Music, please go support them on April 30th and May 1st at 7pm!

Grace's Guardians provides a care package to every family that is treating a child with pediatric cancer in the ENTIRE state of Oklahoma, Northern Texas and Southern Kansas. These packages include toiletries, activities and other items that help make hospital stays less scary.

Meet our April Students of the Month!
Rylinn Bowyer is the daughter of Angie Schenck and the late Kenny Bowyer.
Rylinn is active in cheer, softball and National Honor Society and is on the Superintendents Honor Roll. She will attend RSU in the fall majoring in Early Childhood Education.
Lane Young is a PHS Valedictorian, member of the National Honor Society and has received the Iron Man Award for wrestling. He is active in many sports including football, wrestling and pickle ball. He will attend RSU and major in Health Sciences.
We are very excited to spend time with these outstanding students before they graduate - Go Tigers!!!

Thank you to Cathy Webster for our program on The Rotary Foundation. Contributions to The Foundation ensures the mission of Rotary.org can continue worldwide. Locally, our club uses Foundation grants to distribute dictionaries to all Mayes County 3rd graders as well as other initiatives to help improve life in NE OK.
