Reminder! Photo Contest Entries are DUE TODAY!

Many of you have been asking, and here is the answer...Our annual photo contest starts NOW!

While this year's Rally is over, we are excited to see the beautiful balloons and amazing pilots of the 37th Annual Great Prosser Balloon Rally through your lens!

You have until midnight on Sunday, October 11th to submit up to 5 photos for a chance to be named "Best Overall Photo" of this year's event.

The winning photo will be used as the backdrop for next year's official event poster, and the photographer will be named the Official Photographer of the 2027 Great Prosser Balloon Rally!

What does that mean? You'll receive a special t-shirt AND the opportunity to **FLY IN ONE OF OUR BALLOONS** (weather permitting) and take even more amazing photos from an absolutely priceless view!

2nd and 3rd Place winners will receive a gift certificate for Rally memorabilia at next year's event.

All usable entries will be posted in albums on our page. Share your photo and encourage your friends and family to like it! Likes can influence the Rally Committee's final decision.

HOW TO ENTER: Email up to 5 photos to [email protected]. Photos must feature the official balloons or pilots of the event. Please do not submit photos with copyright or watermark marks. Entries over 5 photos may delay your submission.

By submitting your photos, you give the Great Prosser Balloon Rally permission to use them for event advertising and promotional purposes. We will always do our best to provide photo credit.

Deadline: Sunday, October 11th at midnight.

We are so grateful to everyone who purchased Great Prosser Balloon Rally memorabilia this year! Thank you so much for your support!

We know some of you had to walk away empty-handed because we quickly ran out of sizes — especially in the purple (eggplant) shirt and our sweatshirts!

Because of the incredible response, we’re doing a limited run of a few items. If you missed out or would like to order an item, message us through our social media pages by Sunday, October 4th at 5:00 PM to be added to our order list.

All proceeds from memorabilia sales go right back into next year’s Rally. Items available for reorder are pictured in this post.

🏆 The Champion Bucket Buster Award! 🪣

Since there was a planned competition for the pilots (wind and weather kinda skewed those results), the Rally Board decided to have a little fun this year with a competition the pilots knew absolutely nothing about!

The award went to the pilot whose crew (or the pilot themselves!) managed to break a bucket in the launch field. 😂 Because at the Great Prosser Balloon Rally, even the little things can turn into a competition!

We want to extend our heartfelt CONGRATULATIONS to our very 1st Champion Bucket Buster JASON KELSCH and the Spectacle Crew! Congratulations on earning some unexpected Rally bragging rights and at your first appearance at the event too! 😉

A highlight during rally weekend is the school static displays. These presentations bring the excitement of hot air ballooning directly to local students, giving them an opportunity to learn about how balloons work, meet pilots and crews, and see balloon equipment up close.

As we reflect on the weekend, we want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped make the 37th Annual Great Prosser Balloon Rally such a success.

What makes this event special isn’t just the balloons. It’s the people. It’s the sponsors and community partners who invest in our community, the volunteers who generously give their time, the pilots and crews who return year after year, everyone who works tirelessly behind the scenes, and the thousands of attendees who come together to celebrate this incredible tradition.

This weekend was a wonderful reminder of what makes Prosser so special. From the early morning launches to the unforgettable Night Glow, our community showed up in a big way, creating memories that will last for years.

Thank you to everyone who contributed their time, talents, resources, and enthusiasm to make the 2026 Rally possible. Your support ensures this beloved tradition continues for future generations.
