Prosser Rotary was honored to welcome Barb Moses, Toppen*sh Rotarian and Assistant Governor for Region 11, District 5060. Barb presented our club with a Certificate of Appreciation recognizing Prosser Rotary’s continued support of End Polio Now — a meaningful acknowledgment of our commitment to Rotary’s global mission.

Barb also encouraged members to take part in the 2027 District Roadshow, now expanded to four locations across April 14–17, 2027. Each stop will feature its own program, local activities, and opportunities to connect with Rotarians throughout our cross‑border district while keeping core traditions and learning sessions intact.

Our program continued with Tim Reed, CEO of Prosser Memorial Health, who delivered his classification talk and officially joined Prosser Rotary. Tim shared an informative overview of Memorial Health’s current operations, future growth initiatives, and the vital role the organization plays in Prosser and the surrounding communities. Rotary fellowship + supporting local businesses = a perfect Prosser evening.
Our club enjoyed good food, great conversation, and plenty of laughter at El Caporal. We’re proud to support the businesses that pour heart into our community, and Rotary will keep showing up for them just as they show up for Prosser. Huge thanks to El Caporal for the warm hospitality. El Caporal Miss Prosser

We had a busy and energizing meeting last night!

Our speaker, Annette Christensen, shared details about the Light the World Giving Machine coming to Fairchild Cinemas at Queensgate from November 20–December 10. Through this unique giving experience, donations will support five local charities, and two global, making it easy for our community to give back in a meaningful way.

We also enjoyed a wonderful classification talk from new member, Karyl Carlson, who shared her background and passion for music and filmmaking. Her story highlights exactly what makes Rotary strong — diverse talents, creative energy, and a commitment to serving our community.

And to round out the evening, the Miss Prosser Court invited us to their upcoming fundraiser happening this Saturday, October 10, from 5:00PM to 7:00PM at the Prosser Eagles. It’s always inspiring to see young leaders stepping forward in such a positive way to support our city.

A full, lively night of service, learning, and connection — exactly what Rotary is all about. Miss Prosser
