Our mission is to protect and advocate for animals in need, strengthen the human-animal bond and bring large breeds back to the small farmers of Prosperity and surrounding areas. Our main goal is to provide a short to long term home for animals in need. We have a five-acre, fenced in property where the dogs can roam freely. We do not believe in keeping each animal in individual kennels and locking

them up throughout the day, so all dogs have full rein of the home and outdoors as they please. While we do have individual kennels and separate enclosures, they are only used to separate aggressive behaviors, in order for our safety and the safety of themselves and other animals. Other animals on the property include birds, reptiles, and pigs; we will also be adding chickens and cows in the near future. These animals are here not only to sustain this small farm, but to give these dogs a job to do (protecting and guarding the herd) in order to get them to the right farmer out there. While we would love to keep each and every dog with us forever, we are looking for families and farmers who have a need for these amazing beasts! We want to bring back large breeds to guarding small farms and animal pens. Take a look and see what we are all about! Looking to adopt the perfect livestock guard dog, look no further. Good morning, Monday crowd! I hope everyone had a great weekend.

Quick update on the new brooding building: the area has been prepped and is ready to go, and most of the boards are already on site. We're getting close, but I could use a little help covering the remaining materials.

Right now, we're about $350 short. The remaining funds will go toward:
• Rubber membrane to separate the concrete and wood and create a weatherproof seal
• Pressure-treated 2x4s
• Electrical wiring

The concrete is finished, the power is in place, and everything is ready for the building to go up. This new hatchery space will help us safely raise and care for even more baby chicks here at Villa La Beast.

If you're able to spare a few dollars, any amount helps and is greatly appreciated. Every donation goes directly back into improving the rescue and caring for the animals.

Today I'm working on building a brand-new brooding building for all the baby chicks here at Villa La Beast. As the rescue continues to grow, we need better, safer, and more efficient space to care for our hatchlings and give them the best possible start.

Weekly feed run! 🐾🌾

This is what keeping Villa La Beast running looks like. Every week it's dog food, livestock feed, supplements, and supplies to make sure everyone here stays healthy and fed.

We're also looking to add two more feed storage buckets like the one pictured. They are a huge help in keeping feed dry, protected from moisture, pests, and curious animals. Right now we need two more buckets to properly store the rest of our feed and keep everything organized and protected.

This is how I keep Villa La Beast alive.
Out here working from 6:30 AM until 9 PM most days just to make sure the rescue can keep going. The hard part is every hour I spend working is an hour I’m not able to spend repairing the farm, training dogs, or taking in more animals that need help.

Without support, I’ll have no choice but to continue shrinking the rescue because there simply aren’t enough hours in the day to do both alone.

Every donation directly helps keep the doors open, the dogs fed, and allows me to spend more time actually rescuing instead of just surviving.

Seeing these pups already integrating with the herd and settling into their new jobs is exactly why we do what we do at Villa La Beast. From line training to being trusted off leash in just days, these dogs are proving themselves already… even if they decided a skunk was part of the welcome committee 😂

Kings Pastures has an incredible team, and I’m beyond thankful they chose to work with us and give these dogs such an amazing home and purpose.
