The Prior Lake baseball community is deeply saddened by the loss of sweet Zoe. Our hearts are with Mike, Kelly and Jake, and everyone who loves her.
Baseball has always been about more than the game. It’s about teammates, families, friendships and a community that comes together through both the good times and the difficult ones.
Tonight and through the weekend we’re asking our P.L.A.Y. Baseball families to put a baseball, glove, bat or other piece of baseball equipment outside your home in memory of Zoe. Let’s fill our community with a simple reminder that the family is surrounded by a baseball family that is thinking of them and standing beside them.

Zoe’s life touched those around her, and she will be remembered with love by our community. We hope this small gesture brings Mike, Kelly and Jake a little comfort and reminds them that they are not alone.

We are heartbroken over the loss of our bravest little Laker, Zoe D, who has battled childhood cancer over the past few years.
Tomorrow night and through the weekend, please turn on your porch lights and place poms, megs, and other "cheer gear" on the front porch as an act of solidarity for her family and all who loved our sparkly Zoe-bird.
Our hope is that her family will see a little "cheer" as they drive through our city and how loved they all are.
We love you, Zoe.
