🌞It's almost time for summer!!! Looking for free, fun activities to keep your kids occupied? We are again hosting our summer day camps for youth 6-14 open to youth in the community! Campers will spend camp days crafting, meeting local helpers and first responders, and playing outside. Dates and information can be found below. Upcoming therapeutic group offering for Teens next month! 🎨✨ Community connections inc. and camp mariposa have kindly invited me to host this group in Princeton, WV next month and there are still spots! Group is free to participants and will provide a safe space for teens to make art, build community and hopefully learn some healthy ways of coping together. Feel free to like and share and if you need the flyer I am happy to DM it to anyone who could benefit. ❤️ This will be my first therapy group with Flying Colors Healing Arts in the area and I'm very excited to be able to offer this.

Yesterday, we partnered with Recovery Point and Starting Points to put together snack packs for residents at the Princeton Towers. We hope this takes some strain off residents and our volunteers at Love Thy Neighbor, who are working hard consistently to help those in need. We are happy to help our community however we can, and encourage everyone to help their community in their own way ❤️

It was an awesome camp weekend saying goodbye to summer and celebrating back to school!

Our kids had so much fun playing Wild C’s Safari featuring our directors and mentors as silly safari animals! Each animal represented one of the 7 C’s; once a camper “caught” their animal, they would answer a question about that”C” to win a point. See the captions underneath each below for more info on the 7 C’s philosophy!

We also want to send a huge shoutout and thank you to Southern Highlands Community Mental Health Center for providing backpacks for each of our campers! We are so grateful for all of our amazing community partners.
