Camp Mariposa - Southern West Virginia Camp Mariposa Southern WV is a year-round addiction prevention and mentoring program for youth affect

Weekend camps offer fun, traditional camp activities combined with education and support sessions led by mental health professionals and trained adult mentors. Additional social activities are offered for youth and their families throughout the year. All program activities are offered free of charge to families. Camp Mariposa Southern WV is part of Eluna’s national Camp Mariposa program.

Our last day of Camp Kindness for the summer has come and gone. Thank you to everyone who has helped make these camps a success ❤️

Thank you to Bluefield Housing Authority for hosting us this week! Thank you to our visitors from Curious Kiddos Educational Resources, Craft Memorial Library, Child Protect, Starting Points, Josh Parks with Glenwood Park, our Mercer County Sheriff Department, Legal Aid Mercer County WV, and everyone else that came out to help youth in our community . Another thanks to Recovery Point for all your help with set up, clean up, and engaging with our youth.

We have a wonderful community dedicated to helping our youth grow and thrive in a safe and fun environment. We're excited to see what we can do next!

Campers will spend camp days crafting, meeting local helpers and first responders, and playing outside. Dates and information can be found below.
